Biblical History Group

The next Biblical History meeting will be on 10 October. It will be held in the Chapterhouse conference room starting at 2pm (with tea/coffee & biscuits from 1:30pm). The subject will be ‘The Great Deluge and the Tower of Babel’, which will be full of surprises! The Biblical Flood story will be covered as well as the Mesopotamian legends of that event. You will learn about the Gilgamesh epics, and David Rohl will also attempt to identify the historical figure behind the Biblical anti-hero, Nimrod – builder of the Tower of Babel!
